The Jagdpanther is the single most powerful tank in the game. No unit in CoH can do that kind of miracle work. YOU ONLY GET ONE! do not throw it away in some vain attempt to break through. Use it to keep the enemy distracted and off balance, while faster and more versatile units like Panthers, Panzer IVs and infantry circle around the enemy for the killing blow, and to keep the KT safe from any flanking manuevers. That being said, it is not the primary tool of your attack. It's turret turns so slowly that the whole vehicle must realisticly turn to keep track of a target. It can soak up obscene amounts of damage while blowing apart any tanks and AT guns in front of it. Ok, so some basic tactics for the KT here: The KT functions very well in the spearhead of an assault, despite being slow. It reduces your MP income by 100 for 5 minutes after calling in, so 500MP total for a super tank, not bad As long as it doesn't get flanked, allied armour will die in droves to it. It's main gun is ferociously powerful against enemy armour. It is incredibly durable, as a meat shield it is second to none. That being said, it does have some very useful roles on the battlefield: It Will Not: Win the battle for you, defeat infantry very well, move quickly, turn quickly, aim very well or gain any veterancy no matter what. First and foremost, it is important to understand that this tank is not nearly as powerful or useful as you may initially think.
